The Law Offices of
Sadler & Wilson
Cindy M. Sadler and Emily S. Wilson work exclusively in the area of estate planning, estate administration, probate and guardianship.
Probate does not have to be a time-consuming and complicated matter. Most estates can be effectively handled through a simple informal probate.
Probate is necessary when there are assets in the decedent's name alone. Probate requires the Personal Representative to submit the Will for approval with the district court. The court will issue Letters Testamentary as evidence of the Personal Representative's authority to act on behalf of the estate.
Small estates can be administered through a Small Estate Affidavit which does not require court approval.
If you have a loved one in need of a guardianship or conservatorship, our office can discuss the process with you and help you determine which course of action to pursue.
